My goal is to write a story longer than my thesis, and get more hits on it than on my thesis. Excluding tables, figures, appendices, and such, it clocked in at about 23k words. 

Finished up with 18k words today and I thought of a new plot point to wrap up the third act today. Also got a beta. I hope they like it and that this isn't complete dross.
