Modular sets of Ikea Nordlii drawers have a package of screws, C1, which are needed to stack multiple modular units on top of each other. Each modular unit has ONE C1 package. You need TWO C1 packages to safely stack one drawer on top of each other. This is fine when you want to stack a total of TWO units but when stacking THREE units you need FOUR C1 packages total. Specifically because each C1 package contains only two #106940 cam-lock pins.
Anyways, I'm torn between actually waiting for spare parts to arrive by mail, asking a friend in Burlington to dig through the spare parts buckets, or using 2 cam lock pins at the back and slapping a pair of regular screws in the other holes. The cam-lock part to resist tension forces is only necessary at the back. Also I'm sure the warranty was already voided when Justin peeled off the child-injury stickers.
Last night I dreamed I was eating a tasting menu that included, among other things:
- Grilled monkfish
- Foraged mushrooms
- A "meat muffin" (beef tartare)
There was only one guy cooking, though.
