Today, I got my mom a gmail account because she wanted to talk to me when I was at uni, and because I don't plan on picking up a cell phone. I think maybe we should have started out on something easier. Like yahoo. Or hotmail. But as much as it might be true or not... gmail has the best-integrated webchat since hotmail killed its web messenger approximately a year and several weeks ago.
