Excel is my favourite Windows program. It's not my most frequently used program and the only recent (?) features I've found useful are being able to open .xlsx files natively and sumifs, but its core functionality is perfect.
My favourite functions and tools (in no particular order) are:
- the correlation tool
- index(match)
- sumproduct (herp, derp) and transpose
- the ampersand and all string-related tools
- filter unique values
- Row / column
