Article: McMansion tax coming to Mississauga

Summary: Big roofs => lots of runoff => pipes can't handle it => tax.


My notes:
- Driveways, patios, and the like aren't considered. I guess to do it properly the surveyors of Mississauga would become very, very rich. (More plausibly some intern would have to measure everything on Google Earth.)
-The City of Mississauga uses the Rational Method (which is actually a pretty shitty method) of calculating stormwater runoff. That makes no distinction as to the house/lot size ratio. Also ignores driveways, patios, etc.
- They should really up the tax for the very large homes.
