This was going to be a post on how nobody's perfect but this is obviously more fun.

Reasons I miss pidgin
- I could use beautiful custom icon sets! Last configuration was the Beastie skin with Humanity icons.
- Could set always status to idle to look like I had a life afk.
- Automatically stored history of all my status changes, and everybody else's too.
- Neat, beautiful html chat logs, with colour coding. Dead simple. I was partial to (HH:mm:ss) Name:
- The interface was simply designed, although a little too spacey and rounded for my liking.
- Plugins used - Buddy state notifications, Converation colors, Enhanced History, Extended BList Sort, Guifications, I'dle Mak'er, Message Notification, Message Timestamp Formats, Offline Message Emulation, Pidgin GTK+ Theme Control, Psychic Mode, Transparency, and Windows Pidgin Options. I had fewer pidgin plugins than Skyrim mods.

Reasons I don't miss pidgin
- Was unstable on Windows 7
- Redundant because inbrowser gtalk is more efficient
