Watching Gravity gave me an awful headache (or was it the constant coughing?) but it was a great, life-affirming movie.

There is way too much shit to do.

Monday: transit assignment due
Tuesday: pavement due. meeting with prof-client. need to do materials study. ugh.

why is everything due right after this weekend???

Weekend: put paper together
Next monday: construction assignment due

throughout: write dang articles and editorial. write pavement term paper. work on transit term paper. work on biomech term paper. actual progress: nil.

oh yeah and i went to lunch at one hour cafe with ruth while she was in for the hackathon and everything was acceptably tasty ;)

I had a dream about driving through a post-apocalyptic suburb while in the throes of an ossifying plague. I woke up convinced I was late for work, before realizing it was actually only about 5:30AM. 



Sky High ****
I love it for all its ham-fisted morals with age-inappropriate-casting in teenage-archtypes-set-by-Disney-execs. It's cute, it's troperiffic, and it has Ron Wilson, Bus Driver!. The fourth star comes out of the subtext. I also love the subtext I can pull out of this movie. The slash practically writes itself for all the held gazes and "not believing in labels" and teehehehehe. Not even Wolverine had it so good, and it featured the line "You must be hard" before the opening credits.
