Today, I reacquainted myself with Todd In The Shadows, with whom I remember bumming around in the lab with instead of actually attending certain lectures. Anyways I found myself empathizing with the character, between the drinking, complaining about pop music, and his failed attempts to chat up Obscurus Lupa.

Then I realized that Todd Nathanson is actually dating The Nostalgia Chick in real life and is probably not quite as screwed up as his onscreen persona, or at least in the same way that makes the persona attractive.

But let's ignore that for a moment. It's possible that Todd's anonymity is a factor, yknow, being a mysterious masked men, or just not having appearance as a potential dealbreaker yet. Or the voice. He has quite a nice voice (and is from the American South!). And the bitterness, well, I certainly didn't actually want to go and fix him, and the character would probably be a jerk in real life, so it's probably a good thing he is indeed a character.. 

... As fictional as Conor Broekhart, who is also very awesome and very taken in-universe. It's not everyday I meet a victorian English aerospace engineer.

Congee with chicken, carrot, and curry. Despite looking like hell, it actually tasted pretty good, thanks to the quarter of curry cube. NO THANKS TO THE CHICKEN OR THE CARROT. I WASHED, PEELED, and SLICED that sucker.
