Thea Gilmore - Fall Together

Thea Gilmore has one of my favourite voices of all time, and this is probably my favourite of her songs (it's either this or The Things We Never Said).

 

It's a breakup-and-get-together song. It's a song about being complicit in the failure of democracy. It's about the narrator's self-destructive tendencies. It's a threat from a jealous lover. It's the backing track to the A/C Good Omens fanvid I never made. All set to a piano that turns from airy to prophetic to a final, bleak promise. 

What's not to love?
