On Sunday I ate Malaysian food with Amy. The most interesting thing eaten was the Singaporean laksa. The soup for Singaporean laksa reportedly constitutes of stock, coconut milk, oil, and spices. It must have been the coconut milk that made it so filling. Usually when you drink soup (eat soup? you heathen) it goes through you like water, but the laska sat in my stomach like a cannonball. I didn't like the thin noodles so much. Thick rice vermicelli should be the only types of rice vermicelli.
Now I am in Guelph reading papers about amenity strips.
Cheese of the day: Beemster mild gouda and PC goat's milk brie. The Beemster gouda is okay but I cut open the brie and it spilled its glorious creamy guts all over the board. | |
I concur!
