Things I did: the glacial edition

- I won $10 for my carved pumpkin.
- Geocached on Starkey Hill. Mostly a white pine plantation. Dead creepy at dusk. Saw some small kettle lakes and drumlins.
- Geocached in Limehouse Conservation Area. I THINK it's full of crevasses. Fantastic bit of exploration there.
- Bought the Tokyomilk rollerball holiday collection. I like the green tuberrose and ebony wood ones, but not the "vanilla" and sweet orange ones. As was expected.
- I argued with Greg about how to stabilize a hunting tripod for dynamic loads. He believes that lateral loads might also cause the tripod to become unstable. I agree somewhat but disagree with him that a custom solution is not the answer. I also disagree that DIY bamboo is the answer. Bamboo is not collapsible for storage. On one hand I did take a few courses on structural analysis and properties of materials, but on the other, Greg has actually BUILT a tripod. I think in the end I will order the tripod anyways, because the one I am looking at is rated for 500lb, and should be totally safe with some minor modifications. .
- I am excited to begin data collection for the 1598 project. We've selected the Cineplex at Yonge at Dundas on Tuesday evenings, where the 4th floor lobby is mad crowded. Our hypothesis is that, yes, using the robot ticket kiosks takes less time than using the human kiosks, and that if there is a fire, the lobby can be evacuated in time. I am less excited to build 10 Dundas East and its curved walls with Massmotion.
- I cleaned up my hard drive and contemplated the type of person that I was and am, and how I'd like to continue my personal development.
- Here is a picture of a cat sleeping on a pumpkin.

This picture was literally taken by a potato named Justin.
- The iCity project kickoff meeting for the Complete Streets module is on Thursday. Who names this stuff?
- Since buying this phone five years ago I have received 1:22:25 of calls, made 6:22:59 of calls, sent 2209 messages, and received 4722 messages.

Remember, folks, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Folks folks folks folks folks

Time to count some peds.
