My favourite line is "You are so much more than what's been done to you," which is very on the nose, but it's a sentiment that's got to be said sometimes. 

This is a song I want to put on a very dramatic fanmix for a borderline unhealty pairing in a sci-fi fandom. Like River Tam/Riddick, Rachel/Tobias, Apollo/Starbuck, or Atton Rand/The Exile. This the song for the sort who'd have their first kiss in the season three finale of a four-season show, because friendship laden with unbearable unresolved romantic tension is still my favourite mode of relationship portrayal. A heavy starcruiser explodes in slow motion in the background, illuminating the streaks of dust and sweat on their faces. Their mentor figure looks grimly on, thinking, "According to the prophecy, this won't end well."
