Today I ate lunch and bubble tea with Ruth. If soup is eaten then why isn't bubble tea? Ruth looks great and has a Real Job lined up. In contrast I have a haircut lined up.

I really like haircuts. I like the pomp and ceremony of the wash and dry, the decisiveness and precision of the cut, and the bit at the end where they tell me I'm washing my hair too much / not enough. I like feeling relieved of my split ends and old growth. I think mostly I like getting pampered.

I also met Ruth's hackathon friends who were making a credit card skimmer. There was hot glue involved. The moral of this story is to disable the tap function on your credit card.
