Caveat - I realize I'm looking too hard at things here, and I hope I'm wrong, but

I once had difficulty reconciling the shitty things Charles did with the good person he was, but now I can't reconcile the good memories with the shitty, cowardly person he appears to be.

Notes: smoked tea, coconut milk, cedar and ebony.

I get creamy, slightly sweetened dark wood. It's a little smoky but the overwhelming impression from this fragrance is very smooth and rounded. The coconut milk and tea don't manifest themselves strongly on my skin, except to add to the creaminess. I would say this smells like dark chocolate, except it doesn't smell like chocolate at all, and I only said chocolate because of the dark bittersweet current that dominates Bulletproof.

I like this a lot - but I wouldn't wear it. It's a smell I'd love on someone else, because it's so delicious, but it doesn't suit me - too dark and too smooth. Which is a shame because Bulletproof is fantastic value.
