anyone can fall apart, let's fall together

When Storm was born, the couple sent an email to friends and family: “We've decided not to share Storm's sex for now — a tribute to freedom and choice in place of limitation, a stand up to what the world could become in Storm's lifetime (a more progressive place? ...).”

The worst thing about this story is the kids' names: after a Transformer, a car, and an X-man. And maybe being homeschooled, but other social outlets do exist, and I'm sure they'll all grow up to become well-adjusted adults. It's easier to conform to a role than to reject it.

Apart from that, though, it's an interesting story. I completely support the parents' choice to actively allow their kids to find their own gender roles, though personally I didn't really give a shit at that age anyways.

I dreamed I was a revolutionary in a fringe group in the middle ages fighting my friends in a pit with a sword and hockey sticks while wearing armour. I don't know what the group stood for, or who won.
